Please bring your laptop to get hands-on. The Google team onsite will provide you access to our sandbox environment. Those who complete the lab will receive a badge and some awesome swag! Love PostgreSQL but need more? Welcome to AlloyDB—Google Cloud's fully managed PostgreSQL-compatible database that delivers 4x faster transactions, 100x faster analytics, and built-in AI capabilities, all without changing your existing code. In this hands-on lab, you'll build CymbalFlix Discover, an AI-powered movie discovery application for the fictional streaming company CymbalFlix. You'll experience AlloyDB's game-changing features firsthand: semantic search that understands what users mean (not just what they type), real-time analytics on live data, and AI functions that bring natural language intelligence directly into your SQL queries.
